Elizabeth Jean (Carson) King, 81, of Newington, beloved wife of 64 years to Arthur H. King, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Hartford, she was a resident of Newington for over 55 years. Elizabeth enjoyed to read Danielle Steele books, do word search puzzles and loved the color pink, but most of all taking care of her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Gary King of Newington, Sharon and David Lamb of Bloomfield, Susan Anderson of Newington and Mark King of Norwich; a brother Danny Carson of Tennessee; a sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Chet Perry of Huntington Beach, CA; her loved grandchildren Alexis, Taylor, Joey, Marissa, Kacie, Devon, Lindsay, Samantha and Kelly as well as several great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Jean's personal caregivers Tori and Courtney as well as Hartford Healthcare Hospice Team especially Kelly, Nancy, Karen, Barbara and Alyssa for all their support and love. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Hartford Healthcare Hospice.
