Mary C. (Valente) Bosco, 94, of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late Albert A. Bosco Sr., died peacefully on Wednesday, February 27 at home.
She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Fero) Valente.
She was active in the St. Joseph’s Cathedral community and retired as a secretary for the Nonpublic Programs with the Hartford Board of Education.
She loved to read and enjoyed watching sports, especially football and UConn women’s basketball.
She leaves children, Albert Bosco Jr. and wife Gina, Ron Bosco and wife JoAnn, Jennifer Simons and husband Owen, Susan Bosco, and grand-daughter Christine Simons. She was predeceased by her brothers Tony, Phil, Pat and Frank Valente and sisters Agnes Orgento and Mildred Deasy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Hartford. Burial will immediately follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
